We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Team Leader / Senior Lawyer who is committed to doing their best to support our clients, develop others and lead our established Planning & Regeneration team.
HBPL is an innovative and ambitious Lexcel accredited legal service serving several local authority clients, schools and other public bodies in London and the home counties. The post holder will assist with leading and supporting the development of HB Public Law jointly with the principal lawyers, team leaders and other assistant team leaders.
About the position
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in large scale planning, regeneration and development schemes in and around London and beyond, undertaking varied, high-quality work with like-minded and supportive colleagues who are dedicated to public service and making a difference in local communities.
The successful candidate will assist in leading and develop the existing highly motivated team, as well as personally undertaking complex planning and regeneration matters. Duties will include advising and supporting corporate groups, and senior officers and elected members at committee in a proactive and politically sensitive manner, and being a senior liaison point for the client relationship role.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive previous planning and regeneration experience and will be passionate about teamwork and developing others. The role involves effectively managing the client relationship, so good client care skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with others is essential.
