Principal Planning Officer

 

Grade 5 £38,296 – £46,549 per annum

Working Hours are 36.5 hours per week

Permanent

 

These are exciting times to be working at Birmingham. As the host city for the Commonwealth Games and the delivery of the growth agenda, the City has experienced significant employment, housing and retail growth in recent years. To facilitate this process, we are seeking a talented and driven individual for the Principal Planning Policy Officer post.

 

Working within one of the City's Development Management Teams, you will have the opportunity to deal with a whole range of planning applications including major developments that will have a significant impact on shaping the city to the benefit of the people of Birmingham. The City deals with one of the largest number of applications in the country, whilst maintaining a very high level of performance and customer service.
