We are working with an independent planning consultancy who works for a range of premium clients on flagship projects across the UK. They have a young and dynamic team who work to find innovative solutions to their client’s planning and development problems and they pride themselves on doing things a bit differently, to stand out from the rest. They have a flexible approach to work and support their staff with working from the office, at home, in their Leeds or Manchester offices or in a coffee shop, if you prefer. As a team, they can’t resist a physical challenge or silly group activity and take both as seriously as they take their work.
As a Planner or Senior Planner you will deal with many of their leading clients and will manage exciting large scale and complex projects through the planning process. A self-motivated individual is required who can manage a challenging workload and who thrives within an ever-changing environment. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate with external parties to represent your client’s best interests. You will also be a diligent project manager who is detail oriented.

Role Requirements
- 3+ years post-Masters qualified
- Member of the RTPI
- Drivers licence
- Residential experience
- Development management procedures experience
- Local plan promotion expertise
- Appeals experience (preferable)
