Vacancy Description
Do you have a degree in Planning or a land-use subject and do you want to develop your career further?
Are you looking for a role with variety, where you can be relied on for your expertise and experience to make a significant contribution to securing infrastructure to meet development needs?
Do you have the enthusiasm for good organisation, problem solving, and excellent time management?
You will have experience in a range of complex planning issues, and knowledge of planning legislation and national policy relating to Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). The role will develop this knowledge and you would be responsible for the effective production, implementation, monitoring, collection, and expenditure of the CIL.
You will have good communication skills and will become the key contact for CIL, to internal and external enquiries on CIL, including from: elected Members, parish and town councils, the local community and developers and/or their agents.
This role is hybrid with a combination of home and office working.
