An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become the next Development Management Team Leader at Cotswold District Council, as our excellent Team Leader retires. We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to continue to drive the service forward. We’re keen to hear from you whether you’re already operating at Team Leader level, or looking to take the next exciting step up in your planning career.
With phase 1 of our equivalent of a Cotswold Garden Village under development in Cirencester, Cotswold Airport in Kemble, Higher Education facilities looking to expand and fantastic rural market towns looking to evolve, no two days will be the same.
You will be an experienced planner who is used to dealing with more complex applications and in that role you will be responsible for the delivery of the Councils major new urban extension to Cirencester. However you’ll also have an eye for embedding change and delivering the very best of planning services, looking at new and innovative ways of getting things done and developing the fantastic team around you.
As a Publica employee, as well as a great team of planners, you’ll have access to amazing colleagues in planning policy, economic development, and sustainable transport, all of whom will work with you to ensure planning decisions are robust and holistic. As the Lead Officer for Cotswold District Council, the Councils CEO and Leader and the wider Publica team will be on hand to work with you and support you to ensure the Cotswold place shaping agenda is delivered.
