Runnymede Borough Council is the local authority covering towns including Addlestone, Chertsey and Egham, as well as their neighbouring villages in north west Surrey.
The Council has held borough status since 1978 but retains the powers and functions of a district council, the most prominent of which are dealing with planning applications and collecting refuse and recycling.
Our main base is the Civic Centre in Station Road, Addlestone. This is a 10-year-old open-plan office building located in the centre of the new Addlestone One development which includes a Waitrose, Premier Inn, restaurants and a gym.

Career Grade Planning Officer (Development Management)
The post holder will contribute to the broad range of functions involved in the planning and Development Management Process. The post holder will provide Development Management expertise in response to both requests for advice and guidance across the authority, and in response to the needs of external customers, at all stages of the planning process.
