A leading planning consultancy in London & the South East is seeking an experienced Associate Director to play a key role in delivering major projects across a diverse range of sectors. This is a senior opportunity for someone who can combine project leadership, client management, and business development with deep knowledge of the London and wider South East planning landscape.

You’ll be joining a high‑performing team working on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, with the autonomy to lead major assignments and the support to continue growing your client base and professional profile.

The Role

• Lead and manage complex planning projects with minimal Director input.

• Deliver high‑quality advice across a broad range of sectors.

• Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.

• Drive business development, win new work, and expand existing accounts.

• Provide strategic planning input on major schemes across London and the South East.

• Mentor and support junior team members as part of a collaborative, growing team.

About You

• Strong track record of successfully delivering planning projects.

• Experience across multiple sectors and project types.

• Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex schemes.

• Excellent client‑facing skills with proven ability to develop new business.

• Experience working within London and the wider South East planning environment.

• Typically 8+ years’ experience, though outstanding candidates with less will be considered.
