The consultancy
An independent planning consultancy with a clear focus on residential-led development and strategic land. It promotes sites through local plans, planning applications and appeals for housebuilders, land promoters and landowners. The approach is collaborative and commercially minded, with senior people closely involved in the work.
What you will be doing
- Leading the promotion of strategic sites through local plan processes, applications and appeals
- Managing a portfolio of projects and advising clients at a senior level
- Developing and maintaining relationships with housebuilders, land promoters and landowners
- Supporting and mentoring planners across the team
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice
About you
- Substantial experience in residential-led development and strategic land, ideally at Associate or Associate Director level, or ready to step up from Principal
- A track record of securing outcomes through local plans, applications and appeals
- Confidence leading clients, teams and projects, with a commercial outlook
- MRTPI chartered, or close to it
- An interest in building a profile and contributing to the wider business
The salary guide is £58,000 – £75,000 plus benefits, with London typically around 10% higher. The final package will reflect your experience.
