The Broads is an internationally important and protected wetland environment
with a status equivalent to a national park.
We are looking for a suitably experienced candidate to handle planning
applications, pre-application enquiries and contribute to the development of
planning policy. Applicants should have a recognised qualification in Town
Planning and in a heritage related subject, as well as experience of working in
development management and heritage, preparing reports and giving presentations
on development proposals.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication
skills and a customer-focused approach. Practical experience in the use of
databases, GIS and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and
excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are also key requirements.
Based at Yare House, Norwich with hybrid working arrangements.
