The guide salary is £48,000 – £60,000, plus benefits.
The consultancy
This is the planning team of a long-established property consultancy. It is rooted in the East of England and the Oxford-Cambridge area, and the planners work alongside colleagues from other property disciplines. That means you can draw on wider expertise when advising landowners, developers and investors.
What you will be doing
- Leading strategic land projects, from early appraisal through to promotion
- Advising on residential and commercial development schemes
- Managing planning applications and appeals
- Promoting sites through local plan processes
- Supporting rural and estate clients on planning matters
- Guiding and developing junior colleagues, and helping to build client relationships
About you
- Substantial UK planning experience in consultancy, with a track record of managing projects and clients
- Experience of strategic land, local plan promotion or major applications
- Confident at appeals, and comfortable representing clients in meetings
- MRTPI, or well on the way to it
- Happy to mentor others and take on responsibility
