Planners will be involved in projects linked to energy & renewables as authorities respond to long‑term sustainability targets.
Key responsibilities include managing major applications, preparing committee reports and leading pre‑application discussions with developers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also support viability negotiations and contribute to design‑led regeneration work where required.
The role includes work on projects linked to Birmingham’s transport‑linked growth areas, with several strategic sites progressing through pre‑application and early masterplanning stages.
