As a valued member of our team, you will manage a range of planning and related projects, including:

• preparation of planning applications and appeals (including pre-application enquiries)
• project management,
• undertaking site appraisals and development strategies,
• the promotion of land for development, public consultations and exhibitions.

Successful applicants will manage their own projects as well as working jointly with colleagues and be encouraged to develop new and existing client relationships.

We are looking for a commercially aware planner at Associate or Senior Associate level with a range of experience to play a central role in the team. The role offers a pathway for career progression to Associate Director / Director. We will offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package to reflect your experience and qualifications.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Professional planning experience (typically 4+ years for Associate, 7+ years for Senior Associate) ideally with some private sector experience (essential for Senior Associate).
• Positive attitude and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and sound planning expertise
• Ability to develop and manage client relationships
• Commercial awareness and interest in business development
• Experience of managing planning applications and appeals independently
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Full Membership of the RTPI
• Full UK driving licence
