KLW was established in 1995 as an independent town planning consultancy operating from offices near Tunbridge Wells. With a team of Chartered Town Planners and technical support staff we offer our clients a high quality planning, urban design and environmental service.
KLW undertakes projects ranging from large site promotions through Local Development Frameworks to bespoke planning applications for commercial and residential projects. These are often situated within heavily constrained and environmentally sensitive areas. Our Master Planning team has undertaken work on major city centre regeneration and master plan-led new settlement projects.
We have the ability to pull together expertise on Strategic Planning, Master Planning, Urban Design, and Environmental Impact Assessment – the essential ingredients for promoting large sites.
This practice prepares planning applications and appeals for all manner of new development, conversions and redevelopment schemes within urban and rural environments. Our approach is to identify, early on, the appropriate strategy for delivering the clients’ needs whilst providing an informed view and clear advice at all stages.
The company can provide a comprehensive consultancy service coordinating and project managing teams in a range of fields for specific projects.
