Our client, a major national property adviser, is always keen to hear from talented Associates and Associate Directors in Birmingham. There's no closing date, so you can get in touch when it suits you. It would suit someone who is already leading work and teams, or who is ready to take that step into a more senior, business-facing role.
The consultancy
The planning team sits within a large, well-established property business. That gives it a broad private and public sector client base and close working links with colleagues in other property disciplines. The Birmingham office covers a varied mix of schemes across the region and beyond.
What you will be doing
- Leading development planning projects from early appraisal through to determination
- Advising on strategic land promotion and plan-making, including local plan representations and examinations
- Running commercial and residential schemes, applications and appeals
- Managing and developing planners, and taking a share of responsibility for team performance
- Building client relationships and contributing to business development
About you
- MRTPI chartered, with substantial experience in a consultancy or comparable setting
- A track record of managing complex projects and presenting persuasive planning cases
- Confident advising clients at senior level, with commercial awareness
- Keen to mentor others and help grow the team
Salary guide: £58,000 – £75,000, plus benefits, depending on experience.
