The consultancy
Our client is a global commercial real estate adviser with a planning team based in Birmingham (B3). The team sits alongside other property disciplines, so planning advice is closely tied to wider development and investment thinking. Clients include investors, developers and occupiers.
What you will be doing
- Leading planning strategy and applications for major mixed-use, commercial, residential and regeneration schemes
- Advising on development strategy from site acquisition through to delivery
- Managing appeals and representing clients at the right level
- Building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to new business
- Guiding and developing colleagues, and helping to shape the team's direction
About you
- Substantial planning experience in consultancy, ideally with a track record on large, complex schemes
- Chartered MRTPI, or close to it
- Confident advising commercial clients, with sound judgement and clear communication
- Ready to lead projects and people, and keen to take on business development
Salary guide: £58,000 – £75,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
